Alex Kendall is a photographer living and working in the rarified air of Breckenridge Colorado at 10,000 ft. Alex is a consummate competitor and participant in all things mountain – whether skiing, single speed mountain biking, playing hockey, paddle board surfing, or running, she has experienced a high degree of competitive success. While participating in these sports, or just hopping on her singlespeed townie bike to catch the latest screening of the local mountain film festival, Alex brings a spirited sense of fun, adventure, and class to everything she does.
Over the past 20 years, she has focused an equal amount of energy and effort on her photography. The camera has become the vehicle and photography the outlet for Alex’s extremely creative nature and talent. Most comfortable behind the lens, Alex has become the go to photographer for many local weddings, family portraits, calendar productions, and community events. Alex has a gift for capturing the essence of a person or situation with a discerning and creative eye. She brings equal amounts of skill to the technical production of her work.
In the winter season, Alex can be found working as a supervisor for the Breckenridge Ski Patrol. She patiently mentors and thoughtfully guides her staff in first aid and avalanche control skills, all the while role-modeling tremendous kindness and exceptional care to her patients.
